“E” du Château d’Épiré

Rather than the “Terroir” where the wine yards grow, it’s its specific vinification process that distinguish this wine from THE CHÂTEAU D’EPIRE. The alcoholic fermentation is stopped before all the sugar has been transformed in alcohol, so the wine gets sweeter: a touch of “douceur angevine” (angevine sweetness) in reference to the sweet weather of the region.

It gives to this cuvée a full-rounded flavour with a beautiful and delicate expression of the fruit, a this wineis easy to appreciate especially when it’s young. .
